The number of tourists in Cox’s Bazar is increasing daily, with a significant crowd gathering at Himchari Hills along the Marine Drive Road to enjoy the stunning sea view. Especially during the extended Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, thousands of visitors have flocked to this scenic spot to experience the mesmerizing beauty of the Bay of Bengal.
From the Himchari Hills, tourists can witness the vast blue ocean and the pristine sandy beach, making it a popular attraction. Additionally, the lush green Himchari National Park and the famous Himchari Waterfall further enhance the charm of this location.
The Marine Drive Road, stretching 80 kilometers from Cox’s Bazar to Teknaf, is known as the longest marine drive in the world. The green hills on one side and the vast sea on the other create a breathtaking landscape for travelers.
Local authorities and tourism officials have ensured tourist safety and convenience. Hotels and resorts are well-prepared to accommodate visitors, and several tourist information centers have been set up along the route.
The surge in tourism is also boosting the local economy, benefiting hotels, restaurants, transport services, and small businesses. However, environmental conservation and sustainable tourism remain crucial concerns, urging visitors to be mindful of preserving the area’s natural beauty.
With its picturesque landscapes, rolling hills, and panoramic ocean views, Himchari Hills and the Marine Drive Road continue to be among the most attractive tourist destinations in Cox’s Bazar.
