Thousands of tourists have flocked to Cox’s Bazar over the weekend, centering around Friday and Saturday. However, heavy rain on Friday prevented them from going out. On Saturday morning, light rain fell intermittently, creating a cloudy atmosphere at the beach, where tourists were seen enjoying themselves.
On Saturday (September 14), thousands of tourists were bathing at the Kolatoli, Sugandha, and Laboni points of the beach. Lifeguard personnel had a hard time ensuring their safety.
Senior lifeguard Mohammad Osman from Sea Safe Lifeguard said that due to the adverse weather, a number 3 warning signal has been issued for the sea. Red flags have been raised along the beach, but despite that, lifeguards are working to ensure the safety of the tourists who are bathing
