Darya Nagar beach, one of the most attractive spots along Cox’s Bazar sea beach, is drawing crowds of tourists amid its serene afternoon beauty. As usual, local and foreign visitors began gathering on the sandy shore in the late afternoon.
As the sun tilted toward the western horizon, the waves shimmered with golden light. People of all ages flocked to enjoy the gentle breeze, the sound of waves, and the reddish hues of a sunset. Some people walked along the shore, others took photos, and many spent time with family and friends in a lively atmosphere.
Asif, a tourist from Chattogram, said he enjoyed the afternoon environment the most during his trip with friends. “The sound of the waves and the cool breeze feel very soothing. “Time seems to pass unnoticed here,” he remarked.
Local visitor Rafiqul Islam said that Darya Nagar has become increasingly popular among tourists, especially in the afternoon. He added that improved safety and cleanliness would further enhance visitors’ experience, making it more enjoyable and encouraging repeat visits.
Local traders said that the growing number of tourists has boosted their business, while also urging everyone to remain mindful of preserving the beach environment.
As the sun sets, the crowd gradually thins out, but the memory of nature’s beauty lingers.
