On Friday, Cox’s Bazar Sea Beach saw a little uptick in tourists and local visitors as the heavy downpour that had been falling for the last few days finally stopped.
Since Friday, August 23, was a holiday, it was observed that the beaches in Kalatali, Sugandha, and Laboni were crowded with tourists and local visitors.
Imtiaz Ahmed, the Field Team Manager of Sea Safe Lifeguard, said Cox’s Bazar Life that there were very few tourists in Cox’s Bazar due to the recent days of intense rain.
As it’s not raining today, some tourists were at the beach. No accidents were reported at any of the three locations along Cox’s Bazar beach today according to an update from their working points, he added.
