A sharing meeting and workshop on the activities of the Protection Consortium Project was held in Cox’s Bazar, organized by the Bangladesh National Women Lawyers’ Association (BNWLA) with technical support from IRC and funding from the European Union.

The event took place on Tuesday afternoon at the District Judge’s Court conference room. It coincided with the monthly meeting of the District Legal Aid Office, presided over by Senior Assistant Judge Begum Sajjatun Nesha.

Speakers at the meeting emphasized the importance of protecting women and children from violence, ensuring their rights and opportunities, and working towards improving their overall quality of life.

Among the distinguished attendees were District and Sessions Judge Munshi Abdul Majid, Judge of Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal-1 Zillur Rahman, Chief Judicial Magistrate Akhtar Hossain, Additional District Magistrate Imran Hossain Sajib, Civil Surgeon Dr. Asif Ahmed Howlader, Jail Superintendent Md. Javed Mehdi, BNWLA Project Director Nafiz Imtiaz Hasan, Farhana Rob Sathi, and other relevant officials.
