A certificate and training allowance distribution ceremony marked the conclusion of a two-day workshop on digital marketing skill development for women entrepreneurs in Cox’s Bazar.

The district administration, in collaboration with the Probriddhi initiative and the National Women’s Organization, organized the event, which took place on Sunday afternoon at the Public Library Hall. 

Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, Momtaz Ahmed, graced the occasion as the chief guest.

In her address, the senior secretary encouraged women entrepreneurs to ensure digital security and maintain product quality while expanding their businesses to achieve self-reliance.

Presiding over the event, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Salahuddin highlighted that the future belongs to innovative ideas. 

More than 500 women entrepreneurs, trained in seven trades including interior decoration, beautification, and fashion design under the National Women’s Organization’s grassroots economic empowerment project, attended the event. 

260 participants of the latest workshop received certificates, and 300 previously trained women entrepreneurs received checks totaling Tk29 lakh.
