With the slogan “Let’s Change the Country, Let’s Change the World,” the Cox’s Bazar District Yoga Association organized a yoga training program for the Youth Festival celebrations.
The event took place on Tuesday at the Birshreshtha Ruhul Amin Indoor Stadium, with support from the district administration and sports associations. Md. Harun, the General Secretary of the Bangladesh Yoga Association, inaugurated the program, and Additional Deputy Commissioner Nizam Uddin Ahmed attended as the chief guest.
Presided over by Jamal Uddin, President of the Cox’s Bazar District Yoga Association, the event also featured speeches from District Sports Officer and District Sports Association Secretary Mainuddin Milky, Advisory Member and Principal Jasim Uddin, General Secretary Md. Mohiuddin Mohi, sports organizer Sarwar Romman, and student representative Riduanul Haque, among others.
The program was attended by government officials, yoga coaches, national and local yoga athletes, and parents. A total of 50 young yoga practitioners from various educational institutions participated in the daylong training session. The event concluded with the distribution of certificates to the participants.
