A 17-member delegation from the European Parliament visited the Rohingya camps in Ukhiya on Thursday.
The delegation observed security arrangements and the registration process for Rohingya refugees at Camp 4 in Kutupalong.
Later, they toured the World Food Programme (WFP)-run food distribution center in the extended Camp 4 and witnessed the ongoing operations there.
The delegation also held discussions with Rohingya volunteers and community leaders to hear their perspectives.
Following their field visit, the delegation met with Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner (RRRC) Md. Mizanur Rahman in the afternoon for a briefing and exchange of views.
