National Legal Aid Day will be observed tomorrow, Monday, April 28. This year, the theme for National Legal Aid Day 2025 is “No Joy in Conflict, Settle It, Legal Aid is Here, No Worries.”
In celebration of the day, the Cox’s Bazar District Legal Aid Committee has organized an extensive program for Monday, April 28. The event will kick off at 8:00 AM with a grand rally, which will be inaugurated by Munsi Abdul Majid, the District and Sessions Judge of Cox’s Bazar and Chairman of the District Legal Aid Committee, at the District Judge Court premises. Following the inauguration, the rally will tour the main streets of Cox’s Bazar.
Additionally, several activities will take place to mark the day, including a documentary screening, awards for outstanding panel lawyers, voluntary blood donation, free blood grouping, weight measurement, testimonials from Legal Aid beneficiaries, diabetes testing, and a Legal Aid fair.
The District and Sessions Judge, Munsi Abdul Majid, will officially open the Legal Aid fair. These events and the fair will continue throughout the day at the District Judge Court premises.
