Cox’s Bazar is witnessing the vibrant bloom of Sterculia foetida, locally known as the Katbadam tree. Found along roadsides and in forested patches, these trees are now covered with clusters of round, reddish flowers, drawing the attention of environmentalists and researchers alike. Known for its distinctive palmate leaves and striking flower formations, the Katbadam tree uniquely charms the local landscape.
