The Cox’s Bazar Central Eidgah Field is fully prepared to welcome the worshippers for the holy Eid-ul-Azha prayers. Nearly all arrangements have been completed for the grand occasion. The field will host two congregational prayers for Eid-ul-Azha tomorrow.
The first prayer will take place at 7:30 AM, led by Maulana Mahmudul Haque, the Imam of the Central Model Mosque. The second prayer will follow at 8:30 AM, with the Imam of Eidgah Maidan Jame Masjid and Central Jame Masjid, Mufti Maulana Solaiman Kasemi, leading the prayer.
Meanwhile, the municipal authorities have announced that two prayer sessions have been arranged at the Central Eidgah Field to ensure that the worshippers can offer their Eid prayers in a clean and festive environment. In anticipation of potential rain, tarpaulins have been placed in the tents, and all necessary precautions have been taken.
The central Eidgah field has also made arrangements for top-level security for the Eid-ul-Azha prayers. High-powered CCTV cameras have been installed, and law enforcement personnel will be on constant surveillance to ensure safety.
Additional facilities such as wudu (ablution) stations, ceiling fans, sufficient lighting, and mineral water have been provided to ensure the comfort of the worshippers, as confirmed by the municipal authorities.
