In a significant step toward strengthening diplomatic and political engagement, a delegation from the National Citizens Party (NCP) met today with H.E. Mr. Ramis Şen, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Bangladesh.
The meeting, held in Dhaka, highlighted mutual interests in democratic reform, historical remembrance, and international cooperation.
The NCP delegation was represented by Mr. Alauddin and Mr. S. M. Suza Uddin — a proud son of Cox’s Bazar and Joint Secretary of the Party Committee. During the meeting, both parties engaged in a meaningful and constructive dialogue focused on the ongoing efforts for party reform, the enduring significance of the July Uprising, and the evolving political landscape of Bangladesh.
The NCP representatives shared their vision for a more inclusive and representative political system, underlining the importance of the July Uprising as a symbol of the people’s will and aspirations. They reiterated the party’s dedication to democratic values and to reflecting the mandate of the masses in its future course.
Ambassador Şen expressed appreciation for the historical and political insights shared by the NCP, and both sides affirmed the importance of fostering sustainable international partnerships. Emphasis was placed on enhancing people-to-people relations as a cornerstone for stronger bilateral ties between Türkiye and Bangladesh.
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to continued dialogue and cooperation, reflecting a joint aspiration to build a more democratic, inclusive, and interconnected future.
