The government has reduced the price of octane and petrol by Tk6 per litre, according to a press statement issued by the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources on Saturday.
Moreover, the price of diesel also has been slahsed by Tk1.25 per litre.
Starting tomorrow (1 September), the new price for octane will be Tk125 per litre, while a litre of petrol Tk121 and diesel Tk105.25.
Currently, the price for octane is Tk131 per litre, while a litre of petrol Tk127 and diesel Tk106.75
Fuel oil prices are coordinated every month, keeping in touch with the international market.
