A discussion meeting was held today to mark the anniversary of the Cox’s Bazar Hotel Employees Union. The event took place at a local conference hall, bringing together union leaders, members, and guests.

In their speeches, union leaders emphasized that the Cox’s Bazar Hotel Employees Union is a non-political, non-profit organization committed to protecting the rights of workers in the region’s tourism industry. The union strives to enhance workers’ skills, foster a sense of brotherhood, and contribute to creating a healthy working environment within the hospitality sector.

Speakers highlighted various initiatives run by the union, including professional training programs, social development efforts, and emergency support services such as blood donation drives and disaster relief activities. Special emphasis is also placed on supporting female members through employment assistance, healthcare support, and addressing workplace challenges.

Participants expressed hope that the union will continue to play a leading role in advancing the tourism industry in Cox’s Bazar while working for the overall welfare of its members.
