The Cox’s Bazar Power Development and Distribution Division has undertaken repair and maintenance work on the 33 kV feeder line to ensure an uninterrupted electricity supply during the ongoing monsoon season.
According to an official notice, power supply will remain suspended in several areas of Cox’s Bazar city on Friday (29 August) from 5:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Authorities have urged residents to prepare in advance to avoid inconvenience during the scheduled outage.
Areas to be affected are Badar Mokam, Anderson Road, Krishi Office Road, Boro Bazar, Chaul Bazar, Peshkarpara, Bazarghata, Laldighi Par, Cinema Road, Pan Bazar Road, Nur Para, Old Fish Market, Fulbagh Road, Nuniarchhara, Borofkol, Airport Road, and adjoining areas.
The Power Development and Distribution Division, Cox’s Bazar, said maintenance work is essential for better customer service.
