Cox’s Bazar, the country’s prime tourist city, witnessed a heavy rush of visitors on Friday as weekend holidaymakers thronged the world’s longest sea beach.

From early morning, tourists of all ages began flocking to the shores, turning the beach and its surrounding spots into a lively hub.

Popular points such as Laboni, Sugandha, Kolatoli, Himchhari, Inani, Patuartek, and the Marine Drive saw large crowds of tourists enjoying their day out.

On-the-spot visits revealed that with the day progressing, the number of visitors kept growing.

Many were seen enjoying sea bathing, snapping photos on the sandy dunes, while others indulged in horse rides or beach bikes.

After days of continuous rain, Cox’s Bazar has experienced sunny weather for the past few days.

With conditions improving, tourists across the country have been heading to the beach city in droves.

Although the weather alternated between sunshine and cloudy skies, it only added to the joy of the tourists.

Alongside splashing in the salty waves, tourists enjoyed the scenic beauty of the seashore.
