Every day, thousands of tourists flock to the Cox’s Bazar sea beach — and for many, renting colorful floating tubes has become a must-do activity.
These yellow and multi-colored tubes let visitors float effortlessly on the waves, turning a simple sea bath into an exciting adventure.
Tubes are particularly popular among children and young people, who find the experience thrilling and safe. Depending on the tube size, rental prices range between Tk 50 and Tk 100 per hour.
Tube rental businesses report that demand soars during the tourism season, especially on weekends and public holidays, making them profitable.
Tourists say the floating tubes make sea bathing more enjoyable and memorable, with many calling it an essential part of their Cox’s Bazar trip.
However, lifeguards urge caution. Strong currents sometimes pull bathers farther into the sea, even with tubes. They advise tourists to stay within designated safe zones while enjoying the waves.
