Moments before dusk, the sky over Cox’s Bazar sea beach transforms into a dreamlike canvas. Soft shades of pink and light violet spread across the western horizon, creating a mesmerising glow.

In the fading light of the setting sun, the sea, sandy shore, and sky blend into a breathtaking scene that instantly captivates visitors on the beach.

At Laboni, Sugandha, and Kolatoli points, crowds begin to gather in the late afternoon, just before evening sets in. Some stand silently by the shoreline, while others try to capture the moment on their mobile phones or cameras.

Beneath the pink-tinted sky, the rhythmic sound of the waves seems to create a quiet dialogue between nature and people.

Rafiqul Islam, a tourist from Dhaka, said, “I have visited Cox’s Bazar many times, but the pink sky before sunset touches my heart every single time. All the fatigue of the day disappears in a moment.”

Another visitor from Chattogram, who came with family members, said that standing on the beach at that hour feels special. “It feels like nature is creating a unique scene for us,” he said. The children are enjoying it immensely,” he added.

According to tourists, the pre-dusk sky of Cox’s Bazar offers more than just visual pleasure—it brings a sense of calm to the mind. Beneath the soft pink glow, some visitors get lost in their thoughts, while others quietly savour a moment of simple joy.
