Spring has given Marine Drive Road a vibrant new look. Running alongside the world-famous Cox’s Bazar Sea Beach, the scenic road is now lined with blooming palash and shimul trees, creating a stunning display of red and yellow blossoms on both sides.
The flowers, which were just starting to bloom, gave the whole area a fiery charm. In the soft morning sunlight and the gentle afternoon breeze, the swaying blossoms offer a soothing sight to pedestrians and tourists alike.
The chirping of native birds drifting through the trees adds a melodious touch to the colourful spectacle of nature.
Asad, a regular commuter along the road, said, “I travel this road every day, but during spring its beauty completely transforms. The red palash and shimul make the whole stretch look festive. When I go for a morning walk, the birdsong and cool breeze truly refresh my mind. It feels like this beautiful arrangement of nature is meant just for us.”
Locals say Marine Drive comes alive during spring. Tourists are stopping their vehicles to take photographs, while many families are spending quality time amid the picturesque surroundings.
The deep blue waters of the sea, blending with the crimson shades of palash and shimul, create a breathtaking panorama.
With nature in full bloom, this iconic tourist road of Cox’s Bazar has once again been revitalised by the vibrant touch of spring.
