Assistant Director (Evaluation) Farida Yasmin of the Department of Women’s Affairs inspected the overall activities of various projects implemented by the department in Ramu.
She was received with a floral welcome upon her arrival at the office of the Ramu Upazila Women Affairs Officer at 10:00 am on March 31.
During the visit, she also inspected an adolescent club at Fatekharkul Union, under Ramu Upazila. She expressed appreciation after enjoying cultural performances, including music and recitation, presented by the students.
Following the visit, she carried out a day-long inspection schedule that included reviewing activities under the Vulnerable Women Benefit program, registration processes for associations, and interactive sessions with students and teachers of the adolescent clubs. She also delivered guidance-oriented remarks during the sessions.
The Ramu Upazila Women’s Affairs Office conducted the overall activities to Farida Yasmin’s satisfaction.
Among those present during the visit were Umme Suraiya Amin, Ramu Upazila Women Affairs Officer; Mithun Nath, gender promoter of the adolescent club; music teacher Abul Kashem; recitation instructor Ishayat Nur; and the students’ guardians.
