Laboni Road, the main gateway to Cox’s Bazar beach, has taken on a fresh look following monsoon showers, offering visitors a picturesque setting amid the coastal town’s rain-washed surroundings.
A visit to the area shows an increasing number of tourists strolling along the road after the rain subsided. Some were walking with umbrellas, while others chose to enjoy the light drizzle as they made their way towards the beach.
The clean, rain-soaked road, combined with the lush greenery and cool weather, has created a tranquil atmosphere that is attracting both tourists and local visitors.
Local resident Ehsan said Cox’s Bazar reveals a different charm during the monsoon. He said the freshly washed streets, refreshing environment and vibrant greenery make Laboni Road particularly attractive, with many people enjoying the walk to the beach while taking in the seasonal beauty.
People associated with the tourism sector believe the monsoon landscape has become an added attraction for visitors to Cox’s Bazar.
They expressed hope that tourist arrivals would increase further in the coming days if favourable weather conditions continue.
