Rows of jhau trees beside the sea and the sight of blue waters are drawing tourists to Shaibal Beach, one of the attractive spots along Cox’s Bazar beach.
Waves can be seen through gaps between the jhau trees, while the sea breeze and shade create a pleasant setting for those looking to spend some time close to nature.
Many tourists come to Shaibal Beach to escape the crowds and noise of the main beach areas. Sitting beneath the pine trees, watching the waves and enjoying the cool breeze offers a different experience from the busier parts of Cox’s Bazar beach.
Rohan, a tourist visiting Cox’s Bazar, said the combination of the pine trees and the sea makes Shaibal Beach particularly beautiful.
“The jhau trees and the sea look stunning here. I feel relaxed spending time in this environment and would like to return whenever I get the chance,” he said.
Local tourist Abdullah said he enjoys spending afternoons at Shaibal Beach.
“The rows of jhau trees and the sea give this place a different character. It is a lovely place to spend an afternoon,” he said.
