From first light until deep into the night, tourists occupy the chairs and umbrellas along Cox’s Bazar beach. They come at different hours to sit for long stretches, watching the sea and letting time pass. After sunset, young tourists gather in groups, filling the chairs with conversations, laughter and occasional songs. Amid the roar of the waves, open sky, and gentle sea breeze, these simple chairs become places to linger, unwind, and share moments—quietly waiting as the day gives way to night.
