Cox’s Bazar experienced stormy winds and rain from midnight to dawn yesterday, impacting the sea.
Moreover, there is less tourist traffic on the beach today. Due to unsafe water conditions, red flags have been hoisted at Kolatoli, Sugandha, and Laboni points.
In charge of Sea Safe Lifeguard, Mohammad Osman, said that lifeguards are stationed at three points.
“Tourists are allowed to bathe in three places inside the flag of the lifeguard. Even today, no one is allowed to bathe in the sea under knee-deep water,” he added.
The lifeguard said today’s high tide was at 08:17 a.m., and the low tide will be at 02:07 p.m.
