More than 500 hotels and motels in Cox’s Bazar have fully booked all rooms in advance for the 4-day Durga Puja holiday, with no availability until October 13. Tourism authorities advise visitors to confirm their bookings before traveling to Cox’s Bazar to avoid scams.
The leader of the Tour Operators Association of Cox’s Bazar (TOAC), Anwar Kamal, said that over 500 hotels, motels, and guesthouses have solid reservations for every room.
“If anyone arrive without a confirmed booking, they will likely find them stranded, and may even be targeted by fraudulent groups,” he added.
