Tourists arriving at Cox’s Bazar on special trains expressed their happiness about the journey. The passengers also demanded that the number of trains on the Dhaka-Cox’s Bazar route be increased.

They also urged connecting Cox’s Bazar with the rest of the country through a rail network, labeling the train journey the safest and most comfortable way to travel to the tourist city.

Due to the ongoing 4-day Durga Puja holidays, two pairs of regular intercity trains, ‘Cox’s Bazar Express’ and ‘Porjotok Express,’ ply this route from Dhaka.

Moreover, special trains also run from Chittagong, and a special train will transport passengers on the Dhaka-Cox’s Bazar route from October 10-13.
