In response to passenger demand, Bangladesh Railway has announced the operation of a special train on the Dhaka-Cox’s Bazar route. Beginning service on October 23, the nonstop train will briefly stop in Chattogram. It will run two trips from Dhaka to Cox’s Bazar and two return trips from Cox’s Bazar to Dhaka.

The Office of the Chief Operating Superintendent (East) of Bangladesh Railway, Chattogram, shared the details in a notification on October 17.

Golam Rabbani, the station master of the iconic Cox’s Bazar Railway Station, confirmed the news.

He told Cox’s Bazar Life that on October 23, Special Train-1 will depart from Dhaka at 11:00 PM and arrive in Cox’s Bazar at 7:00 AM the next morning.

On the following day, October 24, Special Train-2 will depart from Cox’s Bazar at 1:40 PM and reach Dhaka at 10:00 PM. After a one-day break, the same schedule will repeat.
