With the conclusion of the 11-day break for Durga Puja, Fatiha-e-Yazdaham, Lakshmi Puja, and Probarona Purnima, combined with the regular weekend holidays (Friday and Saturday), educational activities resumed at the institutions, leading to a slight decrease in the pressure of the tourists in Cox’s Bazar.
From October 9 to October 19, Cox’s Bazar experienced a continuous influx of tourists, with most hotels and motels booked well in advance.
The hospitality industry has expressed satisfaction with the booming business during this period.
Although the end of the holiday season has eased the pressure somewhat, the ongoing tourist season means Cox’s Bazar will continue attracting tourists. Moreover, with travel restrictions still in place in the hill districts, many tourists now want to visit Cox’s Bazar.
