Cox’s Bazar beach was filled with visitors on the weekly holiday. Alongside tourists, local visitors also flocked to the beach for a day of relaxation. Hotels and motels saw strong bookings on Friday and Saturday, the peak weekend days. This early winter rush of tourists has delighted local tourism businesses.
To ensure safety, the Tourist Police are on high alert, and the district administration’s tourism magistrate actively oversees security. Lifeguards and beach staff are also on constant watch to ensure a safe experience for all visitors.
Meanwhile, November marks the start of Cox’s Bazar’s tourist season, but the influx of visitors has already begun. Many tourists, upon arriving, rush to bathe in the sea without taking necessary precautions, which often leads to accidents.
Before entering the water, it is crucial to be aware of tidal conditions, follow flag warnings, and heed lifeguards’ instructions.
