A friendly football match organized by Sea Safe Lifeguards was held in Cox’s Bazar on Monday evening at Baharchhara Bir Muktijoddha Ground. The event was part of the observance of *World Drowning Prevention Day*.
The match saw lifeguards divided into teams: Team A and Team B. In an exciting game, Team B secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Team A. The winning team was later awarded a trophy to commemorate the event.
Speaking at the occasion, Imtiaz Ahmed, the lifeguards’ Field Team Manager, remarked, “We organize such activities to boost morale and maintain a positive mindset among our team members. This friendly match is a small but meaningful effort in that direction.”
