In a remarkable effort to ensure the fundamental rights of the underprivileged, the Abam Foundation, a renowned non-political and non-profit organization in Bangladesh, organized a free medical camp and medicine distribution in Kutubdia.
On Friday, from morning until late afternoon, a team of 18 specialist doctors provided healthcare services at Dhurung Adarsha High School & College. The medical services covered various fields, including general medicine, dermatology, dentistry, gynecology, and pediatrics.
According to the organizers, over 1,500 people from various parts of the Upazila received free medical consultations and medicines during the event.
Since its inception in 2015, the Abam Foundation has dedicated itself to serving humanity. It offers various initiatives, such as employment generation, distribution of educational materials, poverty alleviation, and relief distribution. The foundation leaders have assured us that these activities will continue.
Residents of the area expressed their gratitude and satisfaction with the free medical services and medicines they received.
