Winter has arrived, marking the beginning of the peak tourism season. Cox’s Bazar expects an exponential surge in tourists in the coming weeks as schools and colleges approach the end of their exams. However, the current influx of visitors is already notable. Many are seizing the opportunity to enjoy the early winter ambiance, especially during the weekend holidays on Fridays and Saturdays.
Red and yellow flags have been hoisted at the iconic Cox’s Bazar beach, signaling safety precautions, but the sea remains calm.
Tourists take full advantage of the sunny weather, diving into the ocean for a refreshing swim. Others are indulging in activities like horseback riding, beach biking, and jet skiing, all while soaking in the majestic roar and vastness of the sea.
The tourist police, lifeguards, beach staff, and an executive magistrate from the district administration’s tourism cell are working along the coastline to ensure their safety and a pleasant experience.
