With annual school and college exams over and the weekend holiday in full swing, tourists are flocking to Cox’s Bazar. The beach area is bustling with visitors enjoying the winter vacation.
However, finding a hotel room has become nearly impossible. All rooms in hotels, motels, and guesthouses have been fully booked. Even star-rated hotels are booked through December.
Abul Kashem Sikder, President of the Hotel-Motel Guest House Owners’ Association, said, “Due to the weekend rush, every hotel room in Cox’s Bazar is fully booked. We urge tourists to book rooms in advance before visiting Cox’s Bazar to avoid inconvenience.”
