As the well-marked low-pressure area over the west-central Bay of Bengal has moved northeastward and weakened significantly, the Meteorological Office lifted remote cautionary signals no. 1 from all seaports: Cox’s Bazar, Chattogram, Mongla, and Payra.

The low-pressure area is expected to dissipate into a low-pressure zone over the sea gradually.

Meanwhile, the drizzle was reported in Cox’s Bazar last night due to the influence of the low pressure. The Bangladesh Meteorological Department forecasts temporarily partly cloudy skies with primarily dry weather prevailing across the country in the coming days.
