Mermaid Beach Resort in Cox’s Bazar will host an exciting lineup of events for the Burning Crab Festival. One of the major attractions this year will be the 11-foot-long “Flying Mantaray” kite, created by artist Manzoor Real.
Manzoor Real, an artist at Urukku Bangladesh, inspired this kite by the majestic manta ray. Although he has designed various “Jhap” kites before, the idea of crafting a manta ray-inspired kite came to him upon visiting the seaside. With the support of his team, he turned this vision into reality.
The Flying Mantaray’s eco-friendly design, which didn’t use a single piece of plastic in its construction, adds to its uniqueness. The kite’s structure, aerodynamics, and colours have all been carefully crafted to reflect nature’s beauty.
When this 11-foot kite soars into the sky, it promises to be a breathtaking sight for festival-goers. If you don’t want to miss this unique experience, prepare for the Burning Crab Festival!
