To strengthen its organizational activities and address contemporary challenges, the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement has formed a “Special Cell on Climate Change and Environmental Protection.” This cell aims to combat the adverse effects of climate change, raise environmental awareness, and implement effective conservation initiatives.
Shahriar Mohammad Yamin, a native of Moheshkhali, Cox’s Bazar, has been appointed Secretary of this unique cell. He has been actively involved in climate and environmental activism for years and has played a significant role in various environmental movements.
His work focuses on tackling the ecological crises in coastal areas, addressing deforestation, and mitigating the risks of climate change.
This special cell will engage researchers, students, and environmental activists in promoting climate awareness and implementing conservation efforts at the grassroots level.
The Anti-Discrimination Student Movement hopes this initiative will play a crucial role in addressing the challenges of climate change.
