On World Valentine’s Day, the youth-led organization Tarunner Avijatrik officially inaugurated Swapnashala, a school dedicated to underprivileged children. The initiative aims to create a brighter future for children who lack access to formal education.

The grand opening took place on Friday (February 14) at the Jhau Bon area near Kabita Chattar in Cox’s Bazar. The ceremony began with the national anthem, followed by the ribbon-cutting and cake-cutting rituals led by Tarunner Avijatrik founder Himel Barua Himu. Volunteers, local community members, and parents participated in the event.

One of the event’s highlights was the free distribution of notebooks, pens, and books among the children. Their joyous faces reflected the more profound impact of this initiative—not just spreading the light of education but also strengthening the bond of love and care.

“Education is the key to social transformation. Swapnashala will serve as a guiding light for these children,” said Himel Barua Himu, emphasizing the organization’s long-term vision to expand the school and reach more needy children.

Journalist Abdur Rashid, apprentice lawyer Imu Barua, Tarunner Avijatrik General Secretary Jishu Kanti Dey, and other distinguished guests attended the event.
