As winter nears its end, Cox’s Bazar Beach has become a hub of traditional pitha delicacies. Various types of pitha, including vapa, chiton, patishapta, and dudh chiton, are being sold at different points along the beach, drawing both locals and tourists.
With the arrival of winter, the demand for pitha naturally rises, but it reaches its peak towards the season’s end. Many temporary stalls have sprung up along the beach, offering these delicious treats. According to vendors, the crowd is huge in the evening.
One tourist was excited, saying, “It’s a wonderful experience to enjoy these traditional winter pithas while visiting Cox’s Bazar.”
Locals also mention that seasonal businesses are booming at the beach. Tourists and residents are enjoying the pitha festival.
Though no one can say for sure how long this seasonal treat will last, one thing is sure—the presence of these delicious pithas is adding extra joy to the visitors’ experience at Cox’s Bazar Beach.
