Shah Alam Babu from Cox’s Bazar has secured the first position in the “One-Minute Video Campaign,” jointly organized by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Bangladesh and the Department of Journalism, Media, and Communication at Daffodil International University (DIU).

The initiative aimed to inspire young individuals to contribute towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Expressing his excitement, Babu said, “Becoming the national champion in this competition is a moment of immense pride for me. But this achievement is not just mine—it belongs to the story I tried to tell through my film. It reflects every moment of dedication and teamwork that went into bringing this vision to life.”

He extended his heartfelt gratitude to his team members—Riyaz, Tohid, Raihan, Sayantan, Sajjad, Shahariya, and Akash—who worked tirelessly to make this success possible.

“Through this film, I aimed to portray a vision of a new Bangladesh—where storytelling is not just about entertainment but a powerful tool for change. My dream is to become a filmmaker who can inspire transformation, raise awareness, and help shape responsible citizens through visual storytelling,” Babu added.
