Eminent Bangladeshi thinker and scholar, Professor Salimullah Khan, recently visited his birthplace, Maheshkhali. He attended a memorial event marking the 8th death anniversary of Emramul Haque Imu, the visionary behind the Badiuddin-Mujib Anondodhara Foundation. As the keynote speaker at the event, his presence drew admirers from near and far.
Among the many who came to see him, one stood out—Mizan, a young artist with profound admiration for the scholar. With deep respect and affection, Mizan brought a specially crafted gift: a hand-painted portrait of Salimullah Khan, which he had meticulously framed.
During a break in the event, Mizan presented the portrait to Professor Khan, creating an emotionally charged moment that moved everyone present. Touched by the artist’s heartfelt gesture, Salimullah Khan expressed his appreciation and blessed him.
This devotion was not merely an artist’s tribute to a thinker but a powerful testament to an entire generation’s love for knowledge, intellectualism, and creativity.
The foundation’s organizers also commended Mizan’s initiative, encouraging young people to embrace and celebrate such inspiring acts of appreciation and artistic expression.
