The Adinath Fair, held in celebration of Shiva Chaturdashi Puja, has drawn a massive influx of devotees and tourists to Maheshkhali’s Adinath Temple. From the early morning hours, long queues formed at Jetty No. 6 in Cox’s Bazar as people eagerly waited to travel to the temple and experience the fair’s cultural vibrancy.
Visitors rely on speedboats and traditional gambit boats to reach the Adinath Jetty. However, many have had to wait hours to secure a ride due to the overwhelming crowd. The fair’s organizing committee has arranged additional boats to accommodate the visitor surge.
Local administration and law enforcement agencies are working around the clock to ensure a safe and smooth experience for attendees. The fair, which will continue until March 4, offers a unique blend of religious devotion, scenic beauty, and local delicacies—especially its famed jalebi, which remains a major attraction for thousands of visitors.
