The holy month of Ramadan, a time of fasting and devotion for Muslims, has begun. During this sacred period, believers engage in prayers, Taraweeh, and fasting to seek the blessings of the Almighty. Along with these religious practices, the demand for prayer caps, attire, and fragrant attar rises significantly.
In Cox’s Bazar, near Badar Mokam Jame Mosque, the Royal Saud shop is witnessing a surge in sales of caps, prayer mats, attar, and Tasbihs.
According to shopkeepers, prayer caps range from Tk50 to Tk800, while attar prices vary from Tk150 to Tk3,000 per bottle, with Haramain attar being the most expensive and sought-after.
With Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr approaching, traders are optimistic about strong sales in the attar and prayer accessory market, anticipating a profitable season.
