With fewer tourists visiting during the holy month of Ramadan, Patuatek Beach has become a haven for red crabs.
These vibrant creatures, once hidden due to human activity, now roam freely across the glistening sands, especially after the tide recedes.
Emerging from their burrows, the red crabs scurry across the beach, creating intricate patterns in the sand with their tiny legs.
Every morning and afternoon, they move in groups, only to retreat into their burrows at the slightest disturbance.
A visit to the beach during low tide reveals a fascinating sight—countless red crabs rushing in synchronized movements, almost like a parade, leaving behind artistic imprints on the shore.
Just a few days ago, the constant flow of tourists and motorbikes kept these creatures hidden beneath the sand.
But now, with the serenity of Ramadan, nature is reclaiming its space, and the red crabs have found their freedom once again.
