Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Salahuddin confirmed the formation of a nine-member ad hoc committee for the Cox’s Bazar District Sports Association.
The Deputy Commissioner has been appointed as the committee’s convener, while the District Sports Officer will serve as the member secretary. The other members of the committee include Masud Alam, Sarwar Roman, Professor Azizur Rahman, Absar Karim, Riduanul Haque, Alamgir Chowdhury, and Muhammad Mahbubur Rahman.
Under the leadership of this new committee, the district’s sports and athletics sector is expected to see significant growth. The sports association has assured that the committee will soon begin its activities and take crucial initiatives to nurture local sports talents.
