Professor Chowdhury R Abrar will take oath as a new adviser of the interim government tomorrow.
Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam said at a press briefing at Foreign Service Academy today that the oath-taking ceremony will likely be held at Bangabhaban at 11 a.m.
CR Abrar, he said, is expected to take charge as the education adviser.
Dr Wahiduddin Mahmud currently holds the position of Education Adviser.
Environment, Forest and Climate Change Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan, Chief Adviser’s Deputy Press Secretaries Apurba Jahangir and Abul Kalam Azad Majumder, and Assistant Press Secretary Suchismita Tithi were present.
Prof Abrar is the Executive Director of RMMRU. He taught International Relations at the University of Dhaka for four decades.
He studied at the University of Dhaka, the University of Sussex and Griffith University in Australia.
