With the pledge “Storms or rain, nothing will stop blood donation,” a new voluntary organization, Blood Pragati Mission Maheshkhali, has officially begun its journey. This non-political, non-profit initiative aims to address blood shortages in emergencies while working in education, healthcare, sports, and humanitarian aid.

The organization has announced its first executive committee, with Faisal Amin as president and Md—Alam as general secretary. The 24-member committee will serve for one year.

According to its leaders, volunteers will respond swiftly whenever blood is needed anywhere in Maheshkhali. Additionally, awareness campaigns will be conducted to educate the community on the importance of blood donation.

“Our mission goes beyond just blood donation,” said Faisal Amin. “We want to engage Moheshkhali’s youth in humanitarian efforts so they can contribute to the betterment of society.”

The organization will also focus on healthcare support, educational assistance, sports development, and helping the underprivileged. Volunteers will remain available 24/7 to connect donors with those in need.

Local residents have welcomed this initiative, calling it a blessing for Maheshkhali. “With this organization in place, no one will have to suffer due to a shortage of blood during emergencies,” they said.

Stakeholders believe Blood Pragati Mission Moheshkhali will inspire young people to engage in social service. As they embark on this journey of compassion, there is hope that their mission will be long-lasting and impactful.
