Cox’s Bazar will host the Vitamin A Plus Campaign on March 15. The campaign aims to provide essential nutrition to young children across the district.
The daylong campaign will run from 8 AM to 4 PM across 1,814 centers in eight upazilas of Cox’s Bazar. 61,659 children aged 6 to 11 months will receive a blue-colored Vitamin A capsule, while 427,806 children aged 12 to 59 months will be given a red-colored capsule.
Civil Surgeon Dr. Mohammadul Haque discussed the campaign details with journalists during an orientation meeting at the district EPI Store conference room on Wednesday (March 12).
Dr. Fahim Ahmed Faisal, the Disease Control Officer of the Civil Surgeon’s Office, Dr. Kanika Dastidar, and media representatives from various outlets were also present at the event.
