Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent exams have commenced nationwide today, with the exams scheduled to conclude on May 13.
The exams were held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. According to the Ministry of Education, a total of 1,490,142 students are appearing under nine general education boards this year. In Cox’s Bazar, 29,079 students are taking the exams across 53 centers.
As per the Education and ICT Wing of the district administration, 20,234 students appeared for the SSC exams across 31 centers, 7,281 students sit for the Dakhil exams at 14 centers, 1,564 students on the Vocational exams at 8 centers.
To ensure a smooth and fair examination process, monitoring teams have been deployed.
Moreover, Section 144 was imposed around exam centers.
