The Ministry of Public Administration has appointed Md. A. Mannan, Additional Secretary (Joint Secretary) and Personal Secretary to the Chairman of the National Pay Commission, as the new Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Cox’s Bazar. The official notification was issued on Monday.
According to the notification, Md. A. Mannan, an officer of the BCS (Administration) cadre, has been transferred and posted as the District Commissioner and District Magistrate of Cox’s Bazar.
The order will take effect immediately in the interest of public service.
The notification also mentions that the previous DC of Cox’s Bazar, Mohammad Salahuddin, has been withdrawn from his position.
