On May 12, two prominent advisors will be visiting Cox’s Bazar: the Home Affairs Advisor, Lieutenant General Mohammad Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, and the Disaster Management and Relief Ministry Advisor, Faruk-E-Azam Bir Protik. 

During their visit, they will attend an important meeting at the District Commissioner’s Office in Cox’s Bazar, focusing on critical issues such as Rohingya infiltration, camp management, and drug control.

The meeting will bring together senior officials from various forces and agencies under the Ministry of Home Affairs, including the Navy, Air Force, Army, Police, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), and Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB).

Additionally, the meeting will be attended by Lieutenant General (retired) Abdul Hafiz, Special Assistant to the Chief Advisor on Defense and National Unity Development, as well as Dr. Khalilur Rahman, National Security Advisor and High Representative for Rohingya Affairs, alongside other high-ranking officials.
